Karen has received the following awards and industry accolades.
This award was received for contribution to the IT Service Management industry.
Karen was granted the inaugural Service Management Champion award by itSMF Australia in 2007. The Service Management Champion award is awarded to an individual service management professional who, in the judges view, has made a distinguished, outstanding contribution within the Service Management industry.
This award was given to Karen for best speaker at the itSMF Australia National Conference held in Brisbane, Queensland in 2005. Karen spoke about the “Lost World of Problem Management” which highlighted the issues facing many organizations when trying to introduce Problem Management into their IT Service Management portfolio and confusing Problem Management with Major Incident Management.
